How many times do you snooze the alarm before you finally wake up half an hour later?! 🤦🏻♀️
How many times have you felt just too lazy to get out of bed because you didn’t get to bed early the night before?! 😴 🥱
How much time do you spend thinking about taking the day off or even quitting your job?! 🤭
It was one of those days you find yourself wishing was over before you’ve got even ten minutes into it. It started before I opened my eyes when I had noticed some puzzling noise in my apartment background that couldn’t be there! and specifically not before 7am! I grabbed my mobile to get my familiar shock that I have hit the snooze button of the alarm quite enough to let my mobile drop out of charge! 😲😣
This realization was followed by twenty minutes of panicked cursing and shouting as I jumped inside the nearest trouser and blouse I could find, careening all over my place to gather all the bits of stuff I needed for the rest of the day. 🏃🏻♀️
By the time I was in my office, an hour had passed, and a deduction was naturally stamped on my paycheck at the end of the month.
That is how my life went for 2 and half years and if you understand how it sounds like, then what I am going to say is typically for you! 😃
Getting out of the door was almost my biggest issue and most probably yours! 😅
So, here are 10 tricks to catapult yourself out the door, Choose what could work for you:
📱 Make sure that your mobile is charged and the alarm is scheduled to get you up on your working days.
⏰ Set your alarm twice with a 10-minute span: for example one at 6:00 am and another at 5:50 am. 10 minutes will give you some time to set your brain out of the sleeping mode, but make sure you kick yourself out of bed on the second alarm.
💭 Take this 10-minute span to assemble your outfit together in your mind and think about what bag or shoes that could go with it. That can minimize your time in front of the wardrobe and visualizing will act as a trigger to propel you out of bed.
🚶🏻 Place your mobile in a less accessible distance from your hand so that you will have to get out of your bed to turn it off.
✋🏻 If you are a heavy sleeper, Get 2 alarms, one beside your bed and the other one in a sufficient distance out of direct reach.
🌝 Use The 5 Second Rule, when the alarm goes out, Countdown from 5 to 0 and immediately jump out of bed.
⏱️ Make sure all the clocks in your house have the same time on them—the correct time.
🛍️🚪 Get a One To-Go Basket: Do you have everything you need? Wallet? Keys? Sunglasses? Phone? Collect everything you need in the same place into a One To-Go Basket that would make all your stuff easy to grab on the go without hunting for things around the house every time you go out.
🕙 Preserve yourself 10 minutes on road: If you estimate the drive will take 20 minutes, then 30 minutes is a better answer to have your peace of mind.
⌚ Set your Watch 10 minutes later than the original time, that will make you feel some kind of urgency to get yourself out of the door.
Creating an enticing morning environment can transform your wake-up routine into a source of inspiration and vitality. 🌝
As you weave these techniques into the fabric of your waking routine, remember, the journey from beneath the bed covers to the promising dawn is not merely a physical act but a mental one, and with the right mindset, each morning becomes an opportunity for growth and accomplishment. So, rise and shine, for your mornings hold the potential to shape not only your day but the path to a more fulfilling and purposeful life. 😄
For many Happy Mornings to come, filled with joy, peace, and significantly less stress 😃
