“I have tried 99 times and have failed, but on the 100th time came success.” -Albert Einstein
But Why should we fail 99 times?! Why not let them be 79 or 45 or even 10!
Don’t get me wrong ✋🏻 you didn’t fall in some absurd post, I get that he must have meant it in a metaphorical synonym, but what I couldn’t get is why do we really have to fall all these times! Even though we have all the Capacity To avoid ourselves a huge chunk of failures.
All the experts nowadays are talking about failure as an essential part of our road to success and how you should take action stepping away from your inner voice of fear.
Experience is to learn from mistakes. It means you have burnt your fingers and now your eyes are open. This is a tough, costly and inconvenient way to learn.
Failure and mistakes are intrinsic threads woven into the fabric of the human experience, an inevitable and universal part of our journey. But if you are going to fail in some time or another on your way, Why wouldn’t you consider to fail wisely at least?!
We’re in 21th century, what are you going to do must have been encountered hundred times before or at least there will be patterns to what you are going to innovate, you tend to search google for the random bits and pieces you need to complete your work or so, and although Google has never been less generous nor is Chat Gbt, but they won’t avoid you from major failures!. Failures that you won’t catch on until you fill in. Google can get you all the information you need, but it can’t guarantee you knowledge, nor reassure you a life jacket to life occasional tides.
“We learn from history that we do not learn from history.” –Georg Hegel
Simple, isn’t it?!
We can learn by consciously going out of our way to acquire knowledge and wisdom rather than leave our learning to chance. Truly, one can learn from mistakes but why wait till when you make mistakes before you learn? We ought to give more premium to learning by wisdom than by experience. How can this be done? It will involve making up one’s mind to be decisive in learning. It’s all about your mindset. A decision has to be made to learn consciously and not necessarily from negative experiences. First, realize that life is simply the “outcome and outplay of decisions”. Our life is the sum total of our decisions and our future will be determined by our decisions of today.
In other words, Aim for investing in yourself through books, conferences, social events, seminars and other means by which you are introduced to new minds and go beyond your inner scope.
It would save you much time, money and unnecessarily U-turns to learn consciously by aiming for knowledge other than experience.
Don’t mistake me for getting everything in perfect shape before getting into doing the actual work, but it won’t be bad to take a considerable time to go through the stumbles of previous fellows, and much more time to know about what life yet has to offer.
In every twist and turn, there lies the potential for new experiences, growth, and unforeseen joy. As we navigate this journey, let curiosity be our guide and optimism our compass, for the beauty of life often reveals itself in the uncharted territories of the future.
Keep in mind that our greatest lessons often arise from the most unexpected sources.
Whatever you do, Keep Failing Forward! 🌟
Here’s to the adventures that await and the stories yet to unfold on the canvas of our existence.
Happy Journey! 😄
